307 maiden test flight (4.5Mb mpg format) - 8th December 2006
Take-off and landing. Flown in strong gusty winds off a grass runway.
With full power used for take off and with a thrust to weight ratio of 75% it appears as a rocket ship. Easily controlled in the gusty winds. Two successful flights of around 5 minutes with power left. At this point
still fixed U/C. 7s 3300 mAh used. No rudder and not required. Tracks well on ground. On a nice claim day, I would expect some really nice footage especially on landing. Good range of speed and flew well. Notice the use of a set
of 8 wheels on rear instead of 12 wheels. A thank you to Geoff Pinkerton.
