| Model description |
Some good modelling experience is required.
Every airliner is a custom built model. The 313's design is a combination of traditional construction techniques and unique EDFmodel assembly techniques.
Wingspan 1400mm (4.6 Ft), length 1250mm (4.25 Ft).
Weight AUW approximately 1950g (4.3 lb).
Control surfaces All moving tail plane, inboard fowler flaps, ailerons, rudder and steerable nose wheel.
Features Retractable undercarriage & lighting system.
Hardware EDFmodel fans, brushless motors, speed controllers, retractable undercarriage, lighting system & servos.
EDFmodel views the 313 RC airliner as an experimental model design. EDFmodel does not mass produce models rather each airliner built is a unique custom built airliner. The 313 is deemed a "work-in-progress" model. The
model is always in a state of design and re-design as the collective experience of building the airliners accumulates. With each new model there is always some design improvement and even hardware changes. Thus 313 model design is always in a beta
testing phase.

| Model finish |
Airliner decals can be selected from the photo gallery pages. These are existing graphic designs. A standard white configuration is also possible.
Can I have a model built up in my own choice of airliner colours?
Yes - an additional cost may be required depending upon the decal complexity.
Some colours & designs can be difficult. For example the painting of a fuselage using two-tone colours. This type of work becomes the domain of artists and EDFmodel may not be
able to accept such an order.
|
| Model assembly |
To complete the final assembly of the model and a successful flight will require the input of a moderately experienced modeller.
The 313 airliner is shipped in several sub-assemblies requiring final assembly upon arrival. To allow for the shipping the wings are supplied in two parts. They require gluing together. Installation of the receiver and battery
(not supplied with the kit) is required.
The final assembly should take less than a day. Instructions are provided.
|
| Retractable wheels |
The retracts are designed in a fashion to the 301 model.
The DSR-30 retractable undercarriage set with controller is installed. The smaller nose door opens and closes.
The rear main undercarriage retracts into recesses in the lower fuselage body.
|
| Flaps |
The flaps are designed in a fashion to the 301 model.
Inboard Fowler type flaps -as the flap continues to extend its angle progressively increases. Requirement here for the transmitter set to have a dail for flap extension.
|
| Lights |
2 x Red fuselage strobes lights
2 x Wing landing lights
2 x Wing tip Green/Red lights
|
Hardware
supplied |
2 x 313 EDFmodel fans
2 x 4900 kv brushless motors
2 x 30 Amp controllers
4 X Hitec HS-45HB servos
1 x Hitec HS-56HB servos

| Power setup |
On a 3s battery the engine & fan combination will sink at full throttle 60 Amps, producing 620 watts. This translates into approximately 1100g (2.4 lbs) of static thrust. A 3300 mAH battery will provide a flight time
upwards of 7 minutes if the model is flown in a slow airliner like fashion.
One recommended battery is the Thunder Power G6 Pro Lite LiPo 3300Mah 3S 25C. It is 19mm in height weighing 243g (8.5 oz).
|
| Rudder |
|
Additional
hardware
required |
Additional items required (not supplied with the model) include
- a 2600 - 3300 mAh 3s 20-30C battery. The maximum battery size that will fit the model is 21 x 48 x 150 mm (0.82 x 1.8 x 5.9)"
- battery charger & balancer
- transmitter & receiver
If you are an experienced modeller, there is a good chance you may already own this equipment. If not, your local hobby store can supply and service these items. Unfortunately, as the shipping of batteries is
prohibited, EDFmodel cannot supply these items.

| Transportation |
A fully assembled 313 fits into a family sized station wagon.

|
| Shipping |
Shipping to the US and most other countries is efficient by Express Courier International (ECI). This service provides priority handling, internet
tracking, insurance and a signature on delivery. It offers reliable delivery within 3 to 7 business days. Two boxes of sizes 102L x 36W x 34H cm are shipped.
Taxes & duties. There is no duty on model aircraft (to a limit) payable when shipped to the USA (Harmonised Tariff Code is 95032000 -toys, reduced scale models for recreation). For other countries, taxes and duties
will vary according to customs and tax regulations. Payment of any duties and taxes will be the responsibility of the customer. The maximum allowable duty-free value will vary from country to country. Consult your customs department.

| Model design |
EDFmodel views the 313 RC airliner as an experimental model design. EDFmodel does not mass produce models rather each airliner built is a unique custom built airliner. EDFmodel differs from most other model manufacturers in
that all models supplied are deemed "work-in-progress" models. These are designed and built by Ian Monty (EDFmodel).
The model is always in a state of design and re-design as the collective experience of building the airliners accumulates. With each new model there is always some design improvement or update and even hardware changes. Thus the 313 model design is always in
a beta testing phase.
EDFmodel takes every reasonable step to ensure the airworthiness of built up models. However it is impractical for EDFmodel to completely test every single design change that is made. As such EDFmodel can not in
guarantee the performance of your completed model.
It is the user's responsibility to inspect each component for airworthiness and the entire model airliner system as a whole for airworthiness before flying.
Accepting these conditions is a condition of purchase. Please read the full terms &
conditions before proceeding with an order.

| Model costs |
Each model is a unique custom built airliner. EDFmodel does not mass produce models.
Hand building each model takes time and planning. There is often a six week lead time.
Orders are placed in advance to reserve time on the production line. To confirm an order a fifty percent
deposit is required.
Costs are displayed in US dollars and are exclusive of shipping. A typical world wide shipping & insurance cost is $US 290.
Payment is in US dollars with a bank transfer. Payment plans maybe accepted upon request.
