Model finish

The 301-C airliner is supplied in a standard white with cockpit and window decals as illustrated. It is up to the modeller to paint or produce their own graphics.

You may request that the fuselage to be supplied white and that the cockpit & fuselage decals are not assembled. This will allow you to paint the model in an airliner scheme you prefer and then apply the window decals.

This question is frequently asked -can I have a model built up in my choice of airliner colours?

In some cases this has been possible. I view each project on its merits. Considerable cost is added to the kit cost.

Finishing a model in any particular airliners' colours requires a number of skilled computer hours to produce the graphics. Additionally many hours are consumed in painting the model. The design of decals can add considerably to the overall model cost.

Additionally some colours & designs can be difficult. For example the painting of a fuselage using two-tone colours. This type of work becomes the domain of artists and EDFmodel will not attempt this type of work.

Additional construction required by modeller To complete the final assembly of the model and a successful flight will require the input of an experienced modeller.

The 301-C airliner is shipped in several sub-assemblies requiring final assembly upon arrival. To allow for the shipping the wings are supplied in two parts. They require gluing together. Installation of hardware not supplied with the kit is also required.

The final assembly should take less than a weekend to complete.
