Model finish

Each 301-D airliner is initially built in a standard white configuration. An airliner livery can be selected from the below graphics.

Can I have a model built up in my choice of airliner colours? Yes - an additional cost required.

Each new livery is quoted on per request.
Finishing a model in any particular airliners' colours requires a number of skilled hours to produce the graphics and painting of the model. Some colours & designs can be difficult. For example the painting of a fuselage using two-tone colours. This type of work becomes the domain of artists and RCairliner may not be able to accept such an order.

Model assembly To complete the final assembly of the model and a successful flight will require the input of a moderately experienced modeller.

The 301-D airliner is shipped in several sub-assemblies requiring final assembly upon arrival. To allow for the shipping the wings are supplied in two parts. They require gluing together. Installation of the receiver and battery (not supplied with the kit) is required.

The final assembly should take less than a day. Instructions are provided.

Power setup The power setup of the 301-D is excellent with a high thrust-to-weight ratio producing short take-offs.

View video of engine run-up (6 Mb).

Output: On a 3s battery the engine & fan combination will sink at full throttle 43 Amps, producing 420 watts. This translates into approximately 1000g (2.2 lbs) of static thrust. A 3100 - 3300 mAH battery will provide a flight time upwards of 7 minutes if the model is flown in a slow airliner like fashion.

- battery charger & balancer

- transmitter & receiver

If you are an experienced modeller you will already own this equipment. If not your local hobby store can both supply and service these items. RCairliner does not supply batteries. Shipping of these items is prohibited.
